Orthosport allowed him to help kids in 13 different school districts and was dedicated to Fairfield ISD. Within a few months of working at Fairfield, he was promoted to the program director and was moved to Mexia ISD. Chris continued to work there for 18 years before transitioning to Teague ISD in 2014. Over the 22 year career, Chris cared for the athletes as if they were his own kids. Once you were his kid, you were his kid forever. He often treated injuries of graduates long after they were out of school. He was dedicated to his work and profession whether it was helping out a fellow trainer or getting a kid back in the game.
